Morizio's Fresh Meat Market

Thought you'd love to see this. Our friendly neighborhood butcher often tucks something extra in for Anastacia - a cookie, a chicken head...(Anna says the brain is quite good.)

The Port of Senegalia

Bike ride to Senegalia today. It looked like rain all day but it never did. Full service campground. They even pick up the kids and drive them to the pool. This man is the head of the animation team, which is the company that provides the daily entertainment.

Another Birthday!

One of the things we did for Anastacia's birthday party. Her favorite thing was the pinata but none of us took pictures. I was too busy making sure no one got hit and the other adults were busy laughing and enjoying the fun, because if their kids were stupid enough to get hit they deserve to die. (No one really says that of course...)

Sunflowers are in Bloom EVERYWHERE

So, we had this ridiculously hot and humid day (8 hours or so) at the swimming competition. Massie and I went to the beach to cool off with his friend for an hour and then I went for a walk in the full sun to cool off a little later. Everyone else just stayed and melted. Anyhow, beautiful field of sunflowers!

No American Parent...

OK, is is just me or would we NEVER let our kids do this on an old wooden see-saw???? Not one parent at this birthday party batted an eye. Only me - the helicopter English teacher was worried. They. do. not. hover here. Period.

When your umbrella and the sea match

Cream Lemoncello

Our daily "digestive" (maybe twice daily?) - homemade crema de limoncello. Recipe: Make lemoncello. Add cream. Freeze. Yum.

Montifalco Infiorata by accident...

We stopped later to see Montifalco (which Emily, Sue, Luciano and I went to and loved last year) and they were also decorating the streets. On a much smaller scale, yes, but no one else was there.

Spello Infiorata

Tomorrow I leave...

...for Sardinia. I don't think I have ever been this tan!
