Aberdeen Day 2

Stayed in my tiny but nice b and b. Thought I was to get breakfast so I woke up by 8 so that I wouldn't miss the blood pudding, but no, I apparently did not contract for that. Oh well. Walked around in the cool morning and asked several people where to get coffee before finding a Scottish gelato shop with coffee. Gelato made from old family recipe. Coffee was great. Met Carol and we went to see a castle in Stonehaven. Met Phil Bishop, a local politician who asked for my vote and then my number. LOL He gave me his email address. He has kids in Utah. Hmmmm, should I call him????? Saw a beautiful caste!

We ate at the best fish and chips place in Scotland. It WAS very good! Oh almost forgot that eveyone is trying to sell us deep fried Mars bars???

In the evening, back to Blackfriars Pub. I got venison sausage, Carol got mac and cheese. Of course I also got cider... We sat at the bar for the music until Carol bravely asked the guys behind us what language they were speaking (French) and we chatted the rest of the evening with them. Got their numbers for business purposes? Not sure why but, it was a lot of fun and a great conversation about the world. Off to Italy at 11 am in the morning!
